Computer Store
Challenge
The problem with the previous designs for the computer store was that there was no clear theme or guideline, with each graphic looking completely different from one another. There was no consistency with the graphics and a lot of time was required to come up with a brand new layout and design for each promotion.
Before
Design Process
Working with my supervisor, we streamlined the design process by creating a template/theme for each quarter. Taking inspiration from various tech stores and other mainstream retailers, we created several template variations for different promotions eventually settling on this for the 2024 Winter Quarter.
After
Market
Context
These are the graphics created for the Market, a subsection of the UCLA Store. Using existing patterns and guidelines, I created various promotional graphics. I also created themed graphics for holidays and other special occasions. Working alongside other designers, we worked on creating a general layout for the Market.
Nike Dunks
Context
These are the promotional graphics created for the Nike Dunk Drops that happen every quarter. Similar to the computer store, we are currently working on creating a theme/template for specific types of shoes. As for the Dunk Lows, we created a retro design template per the retro classic look of the shoes.
